Valentina Amato, born in Palermo in 1984, chose to study in her hometown at the University of Palermo, graduating from the Faculty of Law in 2011. After an intense period of forensic practice in civil, criminal and administrative matters, Valentina was sworn in as a lawyer in September 2014.

Lawyer by vocation, Valentina is specialized in civil matters with particular regard to insurance law (public and private), compensation damages (including road accidents) and professional liability.

She has gained in-depth experience in the field of credit recoverycivil executions and in the procedures for managing over-indebtedness crises (consumer planning and liquidation of assets).

Valentina has also acquired specific skills in the field of family law including separationdivorce, and custody of minor children.
Recently specialising in immigration law, she works indepthly with cases of recognition and acquisition of Italian citizenship via iure sanguinis (blood-line) descent, and has taken on many cases confrontating of emerging disputes in the denial of visas and residency permits.
