Jennifer Marquis has graduated from the National Program (JD and LL.L.) of the University of Ottawa, in Canada. Also, before law school, she obtained her undergraduate degree in Joint Honours in Public Administration and Politic Science with an international specialization.
At Boccadutri International Law Firm she is working as a legal trainee on Forex cases and will continue next winter at the law firm in order to start her Canadian Articling.
Jennifer is a French Canadian who completed her Law School in French and English. She did legal internships in Criminal Law, International Trade and Finance in Canada and in Europe.
Since her first year in Law School she got involved in the legal community. The first summer, she obtained the Certificate in International Humanitarian Law of the Human Research and Education Center in collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross. During her second summer of law school she has been part of the American Santa Clara University Law Program in Vienna and Hungary on International Business.
She obtained the Certificate in International Business and Law in the European Union. She learned about the international imports and exports in the European Union and represented the Canadian Law Students in the Program. It was an important opportunity to learn about a specific area of European Law and have a better comprehension of the International Trade Law.
During university in 2018, Jennifer was selected between the students of the Faculties of Common Law and Civil Law to take part of the International Trade and Investment Practicum at the University of Ottawa in collaboration with the TradeLab and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD). Her research on Fuel Fossil Subsidies will be publish soon.
