About Alessandra Moscato:
Alessandra Moscato is Head of the Family Law Department at Boccadutri International Law Firm. She is an expert in Family law, Juvenile Criminal law, Juvenile Civil law. She has conducted many trials and appeals for cases of Divorce, Legal Separation, Adoption, International Child Abduction, proceedings of voluntary jurisdiction before the Juvenile Court, proceedings before all competent courts to determine the contribution to the maintenance of minor children or for the spouse, and relative recovery procedures.
She is also a Family Mediator, leading many family mediations, which is a structured project conducted by a professional mediator to face the reduction of the conflict within the family – especially those with minor children – in order to lead them to a sharing of decisions relating to their own family.
She cooperates with Fondazione Paracelso in Milan, to provide assistance as a Family Mediator to families with children with hemophilia.
She has been called as an expert of family Law and Family Mediation, also in several events, conferences, debates and seminars, such as in June 16, 2013 in Rome (Domestic violence: case comparisons), in February 26, 2015 at the University of Palermo (Parenthood denial and immigration) or in November 23, 2015 at the Court of Appeal in Palermo (Good practice in family mediation: synergy between judge, lawyer and family mediator).
She also led family law courses directed at families in crisis within Public Schools in Palermo.
She is the President of an Assosiation dedicated to providing family mediation services, legal, psychological, or medical assistance, counselling to families who find themselves in a state of internal conflict.
Education & Court Admissions :
Alessandra Moscato graduated from the University of Palermo with a First Class degree. She continued her studies at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. She achieved a master’s degree in juvenile criminal law and family law in 2007, and in family mediation in 2011.
She has been member of the Italian Bar since 2006.
She speaks Italian and English.
